the guy in the audience fucking screaming “yeEEAAAHHHHHH” when magnus grabs the robot arms is the biggest mood
bye vine
ok but how have we not recognize the true winner of vine. The Myrrh-der vine. Why? Because it has been placed in pretty much EVERY SINGLE VINE COMPILATION EVER MADE.
“When me and John have a fight as father and daughter in sign language early in the film he was the most dominant character, and I was supposed to cower to his needs. But as we started filming it I said I would begin to rebel. He loved that idea.” Millicent Simmonds had a true impact on the film with her alterations. “At the end when he signs, ‘I love you.’ I said I think he needs to say, ‘I’ve always loved you.’ Because that covers the difficult period. Then when I suggested that he cried.” This proves the importance need for diversity and representation in cinema.

ok but what is tumblrs weird obsession with hating redemption arcs, do yall just not want people to heal
I don’t hate redemption arcs, for instance, I loved Prince Zuko’s and can see how one with Kylo Ren would be good for the story. But I hate redemption arcs where the former antagonist never made amends to the ones they hurt. I know Supernatural often does this, and there are also stories that do off-screen redemption arcs (sorry Race to the Edge, as much as I love you, I’m looking at you with Dagur’s change of heart), and those aren’t fulfilling either. These days it seems as if a lot of redemption arcs are poorly handled, especially when it comes to characters who were abusive parents or at least, how the fans see the abusive parents as redeemable (looking at you, John Winchester). I once read a rapist get a redemption arc and it was sickening. Not saying that people don’t deserve to be happy or heal, but they need to realize the horrors they’ve done first and work through that instead of forget it and run away from it or do something good and suddenly the slate’s wiped clean. They need to work with who they were, make peace with it, make amends to the people they hurt, and then move on and maybe even help the ones they hurt. Zuko did all of that, and his redemption arc will always be my favorite. In my opinion, many redemption arcs are just handled poorly, with the victims being completely brushed to the side, so that might be why you’re getting the idea that tumblr hates redemption arcs. The victims matter too when it comes to redemption arcs and a lot of writing seems to have a hard time recognizing that.
This!
what do you think strength is, Magnus?
[id: three sketchy-style images of Magnus and the Kodiak Bear. Magnus is a thickly built man with short hair and light facial stubble. He has a square jaw with thick eyebrows, and is wearing a simple set of armor and boots that showcase his arm muscles. The Kodiak bear appears to be about 1.5 times as tall as Magnus, and is very thick.
In the first image, Magnus and the bear are charging for each other – Magnus wields a spear whereas the Bear just brandishes his claws. Both are roaring at each other.
In the next image, they are standing neutrally across from each other. The Kodiak bear is upright oh his hind legs as he stares at Magnus, who has his hands in loose, determined fists at his sides. In the background, we can see the chimpanzee in the background smirking at the two of them.
In the last image, we see a close up of magnus being pressed onto the ground by a large paw. While grimacing and pressing against the floor, Magnus shouts, “HELP!”

i feel like temmie’s contribution to undertale and deltarune isn’t half as appreciated as it should be. its more toby and temmie’s joint project, her art and designs breath life into the whole shebang and it wouldn’t be Anything without her
i thought you were just talking about temmie the monster at first but you’re right in either case
INTO THE SPIDERVERSE HAS LOTS OF FLASHING LIGHTS WITHOUT ANY WARNING
- The title screen, which is around a minute long, is constantly flashing
- The end scene, which is around 10 minutes, is also filled with flashing, almost without a pause
- There are several instances of flashing during the movie as well, either because of the animation style or because the of the plot (sometimes both)
- But just like in incredibles 2, the plot relies heavily on flashing and there’s a LOT more than in incredibles
PLEASE be careful because there is a LOT of flashing lights in this movie (and no warning)
I encourage everyone to reblog this, even if you’re not sensitive, you never know who you could save by informing them of this
